The bridge over the Yangtze at the famous city Wuhan
Wuhan is the capital of the beautiful district Hubei, which means "North of the Lake". The district is situated at the centre of the east of the country.
Near Danjiangkou City, in the region Shiyan at the northwest of the district, the beautiful Ancient Building Complex in the Wudang Mountains is part of the Unesco World Heritage List.
At Sandouping, at the region Yichang at the southwest of Hubei, the Three Gorges Dam is build.
